Maintenance Technician - The Bennett

Grey Star -  - Responsibilities:
Complete assigned work orders from resident requests and perform preventative maintenance by diagnosing defects and completing repairs according to policies, safety standards, and codes;
Complete the make-ready process to prepare vacant apartments for leasing by performing pre-move-out inspections, creating punch lists, scheduling vendors, obtaining supplies, and inspecting completed work;
Manage materials, tools, and supplies from the property maintenance department, track usage, return unused items, and inform supervisor when re-ordering is needed;
Complete documentation and paperwork to document and track service requests;
Assist in maintaining grounds, common areas, and amenities including trash removal, pressure-washing, cleaning, and painting curbs and signage; contribute to cost-control by repairing parts instead of replacing when feasible
