About the Position:
The Virginia State Police (VSP) is seeking to hire an Assistant Storekeeper in our Communications Division at State Police Headquarters in North Chesterfield, Virginia. The job duties for this position include but are not limited to:
Performing the removal, installation, and repair of police, communications and other electronic equipment in VSP vehicles.

Minimum Qualifications
Knowledge:
Experience or training in the mechanical, electrical, electronic or automotive field.
Skills:
Skill in the safe use of shop and mechanical hand tools. Abilities:
Ability to use various tools. Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to communicate effectively in English. Ability to read diagrams or schematics. Experience in the electrical, electronic, mechanical, or automotive vocation required. Motor vehicle operator's license required. Graduation from high school or equivalent.
Additional Considerations
Virginia State Inspection certification preferred.
