The Merchantman Fresh Seafood & Oyster Bar is a 210-seat, high-volume restaurant located in the heart of downtown Charlottetown. Our Kitchen team strives to use the best of what PEI has to offer to create a delicious menu that not only incorporates amazing fresh seafood, but also farm-fresh local produce, meats, and poultry.

• Clean dishes, glassware, flatware, pots or pans and utensils
• Restocking cleaned dishes and utensils
• Ensure dishes are cleaned and stored in a timely fashion
• Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas
• Maintain the cleanliness of the kitchen and dish area
• Comply with sanitation regulations and safety standards
• Follow all operations policies and procedures
• Work alongside the restaurant team to establish a safe and fun atmosphere

• Positive and outgoing personality
• Love for building strong relations with team members
• Flexibility - Our back-of-house staff will work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends
• Must possess a desire for personal and professional development
• Ability to multitask and maintain high energy in a fast-paced environment

• Experience working in a kitchen is an asset
