The Merchantman Fresh Seafood & Oyster Bar is a 210-seat, high-volume restaurant located in the heart of downtown Charlottetown. Our Kitchen team strives to use the best of what PEI has to offer to create a delicious menu that incorporates fresh seafood and farm-fresh local produce, meats, and poultry.

• Prepare food and menu items to the highest standard
• Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
• Ensure food comes out simultaneously in high quality and in a timely fashion
• Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
• Clean kitchen and work area
• Follow all operations policies and procedures
• Work alongside the restaurant team to establish a safe and fun atmosphere

• Positive and outgoing personality
• Love for building strong relations with team members
• Flexibility - Our back‑of‑house staff will work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends

• Cooking experience is an asset
