As

a Junior Sous Chef, You Will
  • Be responsible for maintaining food quality, consistency, and excellence in food preparation and storage.
  • Demonstrate and communicate the MHG vision to all team members and lead by example.
  • Assist the Head Chef and Sous Chef in ordering inventory and daily prep work.
  • Foster a positive atmosphere and promote a kitchen culture that revolves around the enjoyment of cooking, food, and working as a team.
  • Perform all back-of-house crew duties as needed, including prep and supportive work, working all line stations, and expediting dishes.
  • Assist the Head Chef and Sous Chef in the menu development process
Who You Are
  • A passion for the culinary experience and the food service industry
  • Ability to take direction and work calmly under pressure.
  • Must work well with others and enjoy teaching team members.
  • A desire for personal and professional development
What You Bring
  • Applicants must have 2+ years of cooking experience.
  • A culinary diploma or degree is considered an asset
  • Flexibility to work different shifts, including weekends, evenings, and mornings.
