Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain heating, air conditioning, and other essential equipment, ensuring they operate safely and efficiently.
  • Perform necessary maintenance and repairs on apartments.
  • Turn over vacated units, including furniture removal.
  • Report health or safety issues immediately to the Site Manager.
  • Conduct weekly inspections of buildings and grounds, documenting findings in an inspection report.
  • Maintain cleanliness of public areas, including light fixtures and mailbox fronts.
  • Regularly clean washers and dryers in laundry rooms.
  • Perform groundskeeping duties, including picking up trash, mowing, and landscaping.
  • Respond to emergency conditions such as flooding and inclement weather.
  • Record all maintenance work on work orders accurately.
  • Lifting of items weighing a minimum of 50 pounds.
  • Transport appliances to units as needed.
  • Climb ladders up to 20 feet and operate power equipment.
  • Provide your own basic hand tools prior to starting employment.
  • Attend mandatory meetings and training sessions.
  • Effectively communicate in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Have reliable transportation for site errands.
  • Complete other duties as assigned by the Site Manager.
