Job Duties
- Troubleshoot all equipment and associated processes at Chattem.
- Ability to follow instructions carefully with attention to details.
- Responsible for following all safety, security and company policies.
- Ability to maintain all equipment.
- Able to work with outside vendors and contractors as required.
- Follow cGMP guidelines for API’s.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to work any shift and OT (as needed).
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows.
- Good communication skills.
- A self-started, energetic and motivated.
- Work in hot or cold weather conditions.
- Safely lift up to 50 lbs.
- Able to stand, push, pull and climb stairs frequently.
- Able to work in confined spaces, off-the-ground work (platforms, ladders, tall distillation columns, etc)
- Experience in maintenance for the following types of equipment:
- Centrifugal pumps
- Air operated diaphragm pumps
- Gear boxes
- Agitators
- Air operated valves
- Boilers
- Chillers
- Plumbing
