Job OverviewFull‑time position located in Kodak, Tennessee, United States.
Salary range: $45,000.00 to $ annually.
We are seeking an experienced motorcycle, ATV, or PWC technician with 1 to 3 years of experience. This is not an entry‑level position.
Responsibilities- Basic understanding of computers is required as the position uses computers regularly.
- Physically demanding work: ability to be on your feet for long periods, to move at a fast pace and to move vehicles by hand.
- Diagnose and repair two‑ and four‑stroke engines.
- Remove and replace engine components on marine vehicles.
- Remove and replace defective frame and body parts using hand tools, arbor presses, flexible power presses, or other tools.
- Diagnose and repair electrical issues.
- Perform preventative and regular maintenance according to manufacturer specifications.
- Compose repair estimates for internal and external customers.
- Inspect vehicles and identify additional recommended services.
- Prepare list of required parts and labor times for each job.
- Explain diagnostic test results to the Service Manager and, if necessary, the customer.
- Perform test rides and other tests.
- Follow all safety rules and guidelines as determined by Georgia law and management.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in motorcycle/powersports.
- Provide your own basic tools.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Maintain an organized, clean and safe work area.
- Language skills: ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents.
- Reasoning ability: define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
- Education:
1 to 3 years of related experience and/or training. - Written communication: basic computer knowledge, including typing and scheduling systems.
- Regular attendance during normal scheduled store hours, including the ability to work 9+ hours per day and weekends.
- Frequent standing, walking and sitting.
- Ability to work in a high‑stress environment and under tight deadlines, which may require longer or later hours as needed.
- Ability to continually engage and interact with others, including clients and employees, via phone and computer usage.
- Occasional lifting of up to 35 lbs.
- Occasional pushing of up to 100+ lbs.
- Occasional exposure to changes in temperature and humidity.
- Frequent working with and around others.
- Occasional work around mechanical parts.
- Occasional exposure to hazardous chemicals.
- Occasional work around moving objects, including dogs and other service animals.
- Noise level is medium to high.
