M&M Industries is a U.S.
-based manufacturer of plastic pails and packaging solutions. We operate in a manufacturing environment where cleanliness, safety, and organization are essential to supporting daily operations and maintaining a safe workplace.
Facilities Support is responsible for performing custodial and facility-related duties that help maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment. This role supports overall facility upkeep through routine cleaning, organization, and basic maintenance tasks while following all safety and cleanliness standards.
Key Responsibilities- Follow all safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe work environment
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment in accordance with 5S principles
- Clean building interiors including floors, carpets, rugs, and other surfaces
- Clean and maintain offices, break rooms, and restrooms
- Empty trash and recycling bins
- Clean assigned machines and work areas of dust, debris, and grease
- Perform pest control activities as needed
- Operate and perform minor maintenance on floor scrubbers
- Stock and maintain required cleaning supplies
- Maintain safety railings and designated walkways throughout the facility
- Perform other duties as required
- Ability to use cleaning supplies and custodial equipment
- Highly organized
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
- Ability to work independently with little to no supervision
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
High School Diploma or GED required
Experience- No prior experience required
- Less than one (1) year of custodial experience preferred
- Ability to lift over 40 pounds occasionally
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time and bend or stoop as needed
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment that may include hot or cold conditions
- Ability to wear required PPE at all times (safety glasses, hearing protection, etc.)
