Salary Range: $50,000 - $55,000 annually (Compensation is commensurate with experience, qualifications, and overall background).

The Chattanoogan Hotel, a Curio Collection by Hilton property and part of Ascent Hospitality, is seeking an experienced Assistant Chief Engineer to join our Engineering Team.
This position reports directly to the Chief Engineer and plays a key role in supporting the daily operations of the Engineering Department while helping maintain a safe, efficient, and exceptional guest environment.

At The Chattanoogan Hotel, our Engineering Team is responsible for maintaining a beautiful, well-functioning property that delivers outstanding guest experiences. If you enjoy troubleshooting, mentoring team members, and taking pride in maintaining a premier hotel, we would love to meet you.
What You Will Do:- Assist the Chief Engineer in overseeing the daily operations of the Engineering Department.
- Lead and support maintenance team members while promoting a culture of safety, accountability, and teamwork.
- Perform and oversee preventive maintenance and repairs throughout the hotel.
- Troubleshoot HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and building systems.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests, emergencies, and guest needs.
- Assist with scheduling, work orders, vendor coordination, and departmental projects.
- Help ensure compliance with safety standards, brand requirements, and company policies.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and well-functioning property that exceeds guest expectations.
