Janitorial Day Porter – Commercial Cleaning

We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Janitorial Day Porter to join our team in Chattanooga, TN. As a Day Porter, you are the backbone of our facility's daily operations—ensuring a clean, sanitary, safe, and welcoming environment for staff and visitors throughout the day.

• Location:
  
  Chattanooga, TN (Fountain Square)
• Pay Rate: $14.50 per hour
• Shift &
  
  Schedule:
  
  Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (No nights, no weekends!)

• Facility Maintenance:
  Perform general daily cleaning, including dusting and disinfecting high-touch surfaces.
• Restroom Care:
  Clean, sanitize, and continuously restock restrooms with soap, paper products, and supplies.
• Floor Care:
  Vacuum carpets, sweep, mop, and maintain clean floor conditions in high-traffic common areas.
• Waste Management:
  Regularly empty trash, replace liners, and keep the facility clutter-free.
• Inventory & Support:
  Receive, unload, and organize janitorial supply deliveries; complete other cleaning tasks as requested by supervisors.

• Experience:
  
  Minimum of 1 year of professional cleaning, day porter, or janitorial experience.
• Physical Requirements:
  
  Ability to comfortably and repetitively lift up to 35 lbs, stand, walk, and bend throughout an 8-hour shift.
• Reliability:
  Excellent attendance and punctuality for the Monday–Friday daytime schedule.
• Attention to Detail:
  Strong eye for cleanliness and a proactive mindset toward facility maintenance.
• Screenings:
  Must be able to pass a standard drug screening and background check.
