The Cleaning Specialist is a part-time, on-site role based in the Greater Chattanooga area. This position is responsible for performing thorough cleaning tasks in commercial and office environments, including dusting, sanitizing surfaces, emptying trash, and maintaining restrooms and break areas. Day-to-day duties include floor care such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and carpet cleaning, as well as window and glass cleaning to uphold facility appearance standards.

The Cleaning Specialist follows established safety and cleaning protocols, uses company-provided equipment and supplies, and reports any maintenance or safety issues to supervisors. This role also involves working independently or as part of a team, adhering to schedules, and ensuring that all assigned areas meet Service Master quality expectations.

• Ability to perform Commercial Cleaning tasks in offices, medical facilities, schools, and other business environments.
• Experience or aptitude in Window Cleaning, including interior and exterior glass and mirrors.
• Skills in Home and House Cleaning practices that translate to detailed, high-standard facility care.
• Basic knowledge of Carpet care, including vacuuming, spot cleaning, and use of carpet cleaning equipment.
• Reliability in following cleaning checklists, safety procedures, and infection-control guidelines.
• Capacity to perform physical tasks such as standing, bending, lifting, and using cleaning machinery throughout a shift.
• Strong attention to detail, time management skills, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Good communication skills and a professional, respectful approach when interacting with clients and team members.
• Ability to work assigned full-time schedules in the Greater Chattanooga area; reliable transportation to and from work sites.
• Closed toe shoes and professional pants or shorts required. Work shirt provided.
