Facilities Worker

Position Overview

This role supports daily facility operations by keeping production areas clean, organized, and safe. You'll handle machine cleaning, light painting, pallet removal, and general janitorial tasks that keep the plant running smoothly. Ideal for someone reliable, hands-on, and comfortable working independently on a fast-paced 2nd-shift schedule.

• Machine cleaning — Wipe down, degrease, and maintain cleanliness around production equipment.
• Painting tasks — Touch-up painting on walls, guardrails, and equipment as needed.
• Pallet removal — Haul off pallets and maintain clear walkways and storage areas.
• Basic janitorial — Sweep, mop, empty trash, and maintain general facility cleanliness.
• Safety compliance — Follow all plant safety rules and maintain a hazard-free environment.

• Hands-on worker with strong reliability and work ethic
• Ability to lift, move, and haul materials throughout the shift
• Comfort working around industrial equipment
• Willingness to perform repetitive cleaning and upkeep tasks
• Positive attitude and teamwork mindset

2nd Shift: 2:15 PM–10:45 PM

Consistent weekly schedule with opportunities for long-term growth.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chattanooga, TN.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.50/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a fully onsite position in Chattanooga, TN.
