Responsible for general maintenance including troubleshooting, repairing, and preventive maintenance (PM) of plant equipment. Maintain systems such as sprinkler, dock doors, dock leveling plates, building electrical, HVAC, building structure, production equipment, and lift trucks. Complete scheduled PM, root cause analysis of failures, and ensure repeat issues are mitigated.

• Follow all SAFETY guidelines and procedures established at facility.
• Wear appropriate PPE and promote a safe working environment.
• Self‑motivation.
• Receive assignments from Maintenance Lead and Plant management.
• Work overtime as needed.
• Complete planned work from weekly downtime and all scheduled PM maintenance.
• Ensure all work performed meets the quality and safety requirements of Mohawk Industries.
• Report any issues with equipment to Maintenance Lead and Plant Leadership.
• Perform Root Cause Analysis on all equipment failures to eliminate repeat failures.
• Responsible for all Maintenance and Equipment repairs.
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment and systems.
• Maintain equipment condition by communicating necessary repairs.
• Ensure maintenance solutions are permanent fixes and meet all requirements for safe operation under company policies.
• Work with all maintenance personnel and outside contractors to keep equipment operational and complete projects.
• Experience troubleshooting electrical systems to your current level of training.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.

High school diploma or equivalent GED. 2 to 3 years maintenance experience in a manufacturing facility. Proficient using all facility equipment and machinery for troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and resolving other basic operating problems.

• Knowledge of Mohawk’s vision, mission organization, operating structure, products, administrative procedures, and policies.
• Ability to achieve results through team efforts.
• Ability to obtain PIT certification.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.

Must be able to walk long distances, climb on machinery and stand for long periods of time. Bending, crouching and stooping may be required. Must also be able to work in non‑climate‑controlled facilities. Work environment is a noisy, high‑traffic manufacturing production floor. May be required to work a flexible schedule to include evening and night shifts, weekends and holidays.

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $34.96 and $37.16 per year at the commencement of employment. Compensation and range may vary by location. Base pay is determined based on job‑related factors such as work location, skills, experience, education, and training, consistent with applicable state and local laws. Base pay is one component of the total compensation package, which may also include incentive compensation, commissions (if applicable), discretionary bonuses, short‑ and long‑term incentives, and company‑sponsored benefits.
