Shore Educational Collaborative is dedicated to providing a safe and supportive environment for students with disabilities. We are seeking a reliable and dedicated School Custodian to join our team. This position involves maintaining cleanliness and ensuring a safe atmosphere, as well as performing light maintenance tasks.

• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of classrooms, restrooms, hallways, and common areas.
• Perform routine cleaning tasks, including dusting, mopping, vacuuming, and waste disposal.
• Assist in the setup and cleanup of school events and activities.
• Monitor and restock cleaning supplies as needed.
• Conduct light maintenance tasks, such as changing light bulbs, repairing furniture, and maintaining outdoor areas.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Assist with minor repairs and troubleshooting of school equipment.
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to address specific needs related to the school environment.
• Respond to emergency cleaning and maintenance requests promptly.
• Support the school's mission by promoting a respectful and inclusive atmosphere.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous custodial or maintenance experience preferred, especially in an educational or healthcare setting.
• Basic knowledge of cleaning and maintenance procedures.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy items and perform physical tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience and understanding when working with students with disabilities.
