Salary: $57,366.40 Annually

The Ocean County Utilities Authority, a public wastewater treatment facility consisting of three treatment plants and 40 pumping stations, is presently seeking an Assistant Maintenance Planner. The position is located in Brick, NJ.

The Assistant Maintenance Planner will be responsible for control over tools and equipment assigned to the stockroom, and to maintain inventory of consumable items. Employee is to assist in maintaining the Division's maintenance work preparation system and is responsible for stock inventory, shipping and receiving, and entering and retrieving data to and from the computerized maintenance system. The candidate would assist with SDS and Right-to-Know compliance, performing gas detector bump testing, and supporting emergency response operations on a 24-hour basis when needed.

Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent and work experience demonstrating an understanding of general mechanical, electrical, and technical terminology. The successful candidate will have strong computer skills and be proficient in using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS), electronic data management systems (EDMS), Microsoft Office applications, and network-based systems. Strong communication, organizational, multitasking, and interpersonal skills are essential. Experience with tools and equipment used in the maintenance of wastewater treatment and conveyance facilities is preferred.

A valid New Jersey driver's license is required.
