Job Summary

Key Responsibilities Equipment Reliability & Maintenance Maintain POLAB systems, automated sampling systems, XRF, XRD, and laboratory testing equipment.

Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities.

Diagnose equipment failures, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.

Develop and maintain preventive maintenance schedules and spare parts inventories.

Track downtime, maintenance history, and reliability metrics.

Provide after-hours, on-call support to troubleshoot and repair critical laboratory and automation equipment, ensuring minimal downtime for continuous QA/QC operations.

Mechanical Systems Support Perform precision measurements using calipers, micrometers, gauge blocks, and related tools.

Interpret mechanical drawings and technical documentation.

Disassemble, repair, modify, and reassemble laboratory equipment.

Coordinate fabrication of obsolete or discontinued parts through machine shops.

Safely utilize hand tools, power tools, and maintenance shop equipment.

Electrical & Controls Support Read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.

Utilize digital multimeters and test equipment to diagnose electrical issues.

Troubleshoot printed circuit boards and electronic components.

Support automation systems and laboratory control equipment.

Coordinate with electrical maintenance personnel for plant-level repairs.
