Job Title: Part-Time Maintenance Technician

Position Summary: The Part-Time Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing routine maintenance and repair tasks to ensure the Fairfield Inn Chester remains in excellent working order. This role supports the overall guest experience by helping to maintain a safe, clean, and functional environment throughout the hotel.

• Perform general maintenance tasks including painting, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and minor carpentry work.
• Respond promptly to guest room repair requests and resolve issues efficiently.
• Complete preventative maintenance assignments as scheduled.
• Ensure the cleanliness and upkeep of the hotel's equipment, tools, and maintenance areas.
• Assist with groundskeeping tasks such as trash removal, sweeping, and light landscaping.
• Monitor and report safety hazards or deficiencies in the building's systems.
• Support emergency response protocols, including fire alarms and power outages.
• Maintain records of work completed and materials used.
• Collaborate with hotel management and other departments to ensure timely repairs and communication.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior experience in hotel, apartment, or facility maintenance is strongly preferred.
• Basic knowledge of general maintenance practices, tools, and safety procedures.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and dependability.
• Availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays as needed.
