As a Mechatronics & Robotics Technician, you will use your skills to support the Operations Maintenance team in repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems throughout the building. You will install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment, mentor junior technicians, and help ensure reliable operations for Amazon’s fulfillment facilities.

• Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.
• Complete preventative maintenance routines with proper documentation.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to all Material Handling Equipment (MHE) – belts, motors, photo‑eyes, relays, and more.
• Maintain a positive working relationship across all of the Amazon Operations facility.
• Move up to 49 lbs, stand and walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, climb ladders and gangways safely, and perform regular bending, lifting, stretching, and reaching both below the waist and above the head.

• High school or equivalent diploma.
• 1+ years of experience with Microsoft Office products and applications.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
• 2+ years of experience conducting predictive and preventative maintenance procedures.
• 2+ years of experience reading blueprints and electrical schematics.
• 2+ years of experience demonstrating safety standards.
• 2+ years of experience troubleshooting and diagnosing material handling equipment (MHE).

• 2+ years of experience with electrical and electronic principles.
• Associate’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical engineering.
• 2+ years of experience in a Mechanical or Electrical apprenticeship program.
