Contract Details- Position Type: Contract
- Contract Duration: 5 months (with potential for extension and conversion to full-time employment)
- Pay Rate: $30.00 $ 31.00 / Hour (USD)
- Shift / Schedule: First 6 8 weeks will be a training period:
Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM. After training: 2:00 PM 12:00 AM. Candidates will work rotating shifts; every 4 weeks, their days off will shift. - Overtime: Overtime applicable per assignment requirements.
- Work Authorization: Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.
As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining small to medium-sized buildings, industrial systems, and equipment. This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function, responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems. Work orders will be assigned through a work order management system. The resource will work as part of a team and will also have independent work.
The work site is currently under construction.
- Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and other building systems.
- Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose potential problems, and make repairs.
- Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
- Review assigned work orders and partner with available systems to track completion.
- Support energy management by ensuring all building systems are operating efficiently.
- Inspect existing installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
- Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems. Exchange straightforward information in a clear, concise manner.
- Impact team through defined duties, methods, and tasks as described in detail.
- Deliver own output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance.
- Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.
- Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
- Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
- Basic computer skills.
- Highly professional attitude.
- Good customer service skills.
- Applicable licensing preferred (no specific license required).
- High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma required. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
- 5 7 years of job-related experience in a maintenance technician or related role.
- Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, and climbing stairs/ladders.
- Ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
- Work site is currently under construction.
- Background check with drug screen required (CBRE Safety Specific package).
- Interview process: 2 virtual interviews.
- Conversion to permanent employment (FTE) is possible; specific conversion salary not determined at this time.
