Job Title
Building Custodian (Part-Time)
SummaryThis position involves some physically demanding manual and semi-skilled tasks for janitorial and maintenance work after hours and on weekends, as necessary. The employee will clean and maintain all Town municipal buildings and grounds using proper cleaning methods and materials.
Responsibilities- Clean floors, walls, windows, restrooms, and equipment.
- Perform minor repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Use cleaning tools and power-operated machinery.
- Monitor after-hours building activities.
- Secure facilities and assist with groundskeeping tasks.
- Complete additional work assigned by a designated supervisor.
- High school diploma (or GED) and at least one year of custodial or maintenance experience.
- Strong communication skills and physical stamina.
- Knowledge of safety procedures.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical and background check.
