Custodian II Position
The Custodian II position is a full-time, benefited position, that provides clean, safe, and professional setups and furniture moving for our students, community, and stakeholders. This position may work on a team or individually to perform setup tasks across campus to maintain a high standard of timely and accurate setups for events. Providing clean, attractive, healthy, and safe facilities for events.
Individuals in this position are expected to represent the Department and LCCC professionally. Additionally, this position may also support and perform the duties of a Custodian I. This position may require the ability to work a flexible schedule and provide support for alternate shifts or for special event setups.
Hours of Work:
Sunday - Thursday 3:00pm to 11:30pm. Screening will begin ASAP and continue until the position is filled. Start date to be determined, but as soon as practicable after the hiring/interview process.
Salary and Benefits:
This is a full-time, benefited Staff, S25 level position. Starting wage range: $16.77 - $20.55/hourly, depending upon experience. Essential Functions:
This position is non-exempt, i.e., is eligible for compensatory or overtime pay provisions of the FLSA. Provide custodial services in support during and after campus and community events, special events and projects.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Knowledge of cleaning methods, safety precautions, techniques and proper use of materials and equipment. Knowledge and ability with personal computing applications – specifically Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint), Adobe products (e.g., Reader, Professional). Knowledge of basic office equipment including (but not limited to) personal computer and associated peripherals, fax machine, multi-line telephone, voice recorders, and other electronic devices.
Knowledge of furniture moving or setup experience.
Skills and abilities
