Position Overview

Marian Catholic High School is seeking highly motivated and passionate High School Teachers who are interested in joining our school community, which is a Catholic, coeducational, college preparatory high school within the Dominican tradition of study, prayer, community, and preaching.

Job Responsibilities

? Develop and implement engaging and differentiated lesson plans aligned with state standards and curriculum guidelines.

? Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters student growth and development.

? Assess student learning through a variety of methods (e.g., quizzes, tests, projects, observations) and provide timely and

constructive feedback.

? Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of all students.

? Collaborate with colleagues, administrators, and support staff to ensure student success.

? Maintain accurate student records and communicate effectively with parents/guardians.

? Participate in professional development activities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.

? Contribute positively to the overall school community.

Qualifications

Qualifications

? Bachelor's degree in education or a related field required.

? Valid state teaching certification required.

? Proven experience in teaching high school students preferred.

? Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

? Strong classroom management and discipline skills.

? Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations.

? Passion for student learning and a commitment to professional growth.

? Proficiency in using technology in the classroom.
