Adjunct Faculty, Spanish High School Equivalency:
Contextualized Mathematics
Prairie State College seeks an adjunct instructor to teach Spanish High School Equivalency (GED):
Contextualized Math. This course prepares Spanish‑speaking students to pass the GED Math and Science exams. The class is taught in Spanish.
The course meets on campus evenings on Tuesdays and Thursdays, 6:30am–9:45am. Class begins 9/22/2026 and ends 12/10/26.
Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in GED content area or related field
- Ability to use technology to enhance teaching and learning
- Excellent writing and organizational skills
- Master’s degree in GED content area or related field
- Experience teaching in an Adult Education program
- Familiarity with GED exam content and components
- Credentialed to teach online
