Job Summary:
Sandridge SD 172 is seeking dedicated and reliable Substitute Teachers to provide instructional support and maintain a positive learning environment in the absence of regular classroom teachers. This role is essential in ensuring continuity of learning and upholding the school's educational standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and classroom activities.
- Manage student behavior and ensure a safe, positive classroom environment.
- Follow school policies, procedures, and schedules.
- Take attendance and report any incidents or concerns to school administration.
- Adapt teaching methods to meet students' needs as necessary.
- Maintain a professional and respectful rapport with students, staff, and parents.
- (Bachelor's degree preferred)
- Valid state teaching certification or substitute teaching license. Retirees encouraged to apply
- Previous teaching or childcare experience preferred.
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
