Position: ESY Cota
Program Dates:
ESY will run Monday through Friday, beginning June 4, 2026, and ending July 17, 2026.
Important Dates:
• April 24, 2026 (Friday): Final date to receive applications Return form to Human Resources
• June 3, 2026 (Wednesday): Staff Orientation & Preparation
Staff hours: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM (two paid ESY workdays; includes a 30-minute unpaid lunch)
• June 4, 2026 (Thursday): Students' First Day
• June 19, 2026 (Friday): No School - Juneteenth Observance
• July 3, 2026 (Friday): No School
• July 17, 2026 (Friday):
- Students' Last Day - ESY Ends
- Teacher Progress/Records Day
Staff hours: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM (two paid ESY workdays; includes a 30-minute unpaid lunch)
- Staff: 8:00 AM - 12:30 PM (except June 3 and July 17, which are full days)
- Students (ELC, IES, PAL & ALL): 8:15 AM - 12:15 PM
- ESY salary is outlined in the CBA.
- Non-attendance days:
June 19 and July 3, 2026
A. Extended School Year Program
ESY daily stipends will be $190 per day for certified and other licensed professionals as well as other non-certified and $95.00 per day for educational support personnel.
