Environmental Health Safety Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated EHS Specialist to oversee environmental compliance, workplace safety, and Process Safety Management (PSM) at our chemical manufacturing facility. You will work closely with plant operations to maintain a proactive safety culture, satisfy regulatory requirements, and drive continuous improvement.

• Regulatory Compliance:
  Lead PSM elements, including Process Hazard Analyses (PHA), Management of Change (MOC), and Pre-Startup Safety Reviews.
• Environmental Management:
  Oversee hazardous waste (RCRA), air emissions (Title V), wastewater discharge, and Tier II / TRI reporting.
• Industrial Hygiene & Safety:
  Conduct workplace audits, chemical exposure monitoring, and PPE assessments.
• Incident Response:
  Lead root-cause investigations for incidents or near-misses and manage corrective action plans (CAPA).
• Training:
  Deliver site safety programs including Haz Com, LOTO, Confined Space Entry, and HAZWOPER.

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
• 2+ years of EHS experience in chemical, food & beverage, or manufacturing.
• Strong working knowledge of OSHA  (PSM), EPA RMP, RCRA, and GHS standards.
• Active ASP, CSP, or CHMM certifications preferred.
• HAZWOPER 40-Hour certification preferred.
