Great Lakes Concrete is a premier manufacturer of precast concrete structures and a leading distributor for the sanitary, sewer, and water movement markets. With over 30 years in business and a strong foothold in municipal infrastructure, we are looking for a sharp, hands‑on Controller to lead our financial operations.

Full‑time, in‑office position located at 128 East 14th Street, Chicago Heights, IL 60411.

• Manage day‑to‑day accounting, including A/R, A/P, and payroll/HR functions, as well as staff.
• Coordinate month‑end and year‑end closing with a focus on accruals, inventory reconciliations, and manufacturing‑specific adjustments.
• Implement and maintain robust controls to ensure accuracy and reduce risk.
• Monitor cash flow and working capital and make recommendations for optimization.
• Monitor working capital and provide Ownership with actionable recommendations for optimization.
• Manage relationships with external partners in banking, insurance, tax, and IT support.

• 5+ years of experience in an Accounting Management role, specifically within Manufacturing or Distribution.
• A deep understanding of Cost Accounting and Inventory Management.
• BS in Accounting (4‑year degree). CPA or CMA is a plus.
• Advanced Excel skills and the ability to quickly master new industry‑specific software.
• Spanish language proficiency is highly helpful in our production environment.
