As a leader in agricultural innovation and crop protection, we are seeking a Plant Controller to drive financial performance, strengthen controls, and partner closely with site leadership to support operational excellence.
What You’ll OwnIn this role, you will take ownership of the plant’s financial performance, delivering insights and guidance that drive efficiency, profitability, and continuous improvement. You will partner closely with operations leadership to support decision‑making and ensure strong financial discipline across the site.
What You’ll Do- Lead plant financial planning, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Analyze manufacturing performance to identify cost savings and efficiency opportunities
- Partner with plant leadership to drive operational improvements and profitability
- Oversee inventory accounting, standard costing, and physical inventory processes
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and regulatory requirements
- Deliver accurate and timely financial reporting to site and corporate teams
- Support month‑end and year‑end close processes
- Identify financial risks and opportunities with actionable recommendations
- Lead and develop plant finance team members (as applicable)
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CMA preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in manufacturing finance or plant accounting
- Strong expertise in cost accounting and inventory management
- ERP experience (SAP preferred) and advanced Excel skills
- Proven ability to partner cross‑functionally and influence business decisions
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills
Our compensation structure is designed to reflect the cost of labor across various U.S. geographic markets. The base salary range for this position is $95,200 to $135,000 per year.
Actual compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors, including market location, job‑related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity.
In addition to base pay, this role may be eligible for additional forms of compensation and a comprehensive benefits package, which includes medical, financial, and other wellbeing benefits.
