The Department of Innovation & Technology (DoIT) is seeking qualified candidates to join a dynamic, creative, problem-solving environment. This position serves as the Deputy Chief Technology Officer for Enterprise Hosting under the administrative direction of the Chief Technology Officer, serving as the principal policy-formulating administrator for the management processes for Enterprise Infrastructure Operations and Network Operations IT services statewide. You will lead and manage the development and implementation of new technology products and services by researching and recommending implementations of advanced information technology, driving adoption while fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and operational excellence among the infrastructure and network teams.
You will also lead and develop a high-performing team and serve as an agency spokesperson.

Responsibilities- Subject to management approval, serves as the Deputy Chief Technology Officer
- Enterprise Hosting, for the Department of Innovation & Technology (DoIT), serving as the principal policy-formulating administrator for the management processes for Enterprise Infrastructure Operations and Network Operations Information Technology (IT) services statewide. - Leads and manages the development and implementation of new technology products and services by researching and recommending implementation of advanced information technology and drives adoption while fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and operational excellence among the infrastructure and network teams.
- Serves as official agency spokesperson on behalf of the Chief Technology Officer to internal and external entities regarding infrastructure and network issues.
- Serves as full line supervisor.
- Directs the enterprise hosting budget preparation, procurement, and controls appropriation of technology expenditures, including analyzing and providing management with justification of expenditure as well as information on feasibility, availability, and pricing of technologies and services.
- Keeps abreast of new developments in the information technology field by continuing education through meetings, training sessions, seminars, and conferences to increase familiarity with and remain current on products, vendors, techniques, and procedures.
- Performs other duties as required or assigned, which are reasonably within the scope of the duties enumerated above.
- Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in management information systems, information technology, computer science, or a directly related Information Technology field.
