Role Summary

The Sr. Director, Revenue Analytics reports to the GVP, Revenue Operations and leads the centralized analytics and data governance function within Revenue Operations. The role owns the analytics foundation, sets strategy, builds a high-performing analytics organization, and supports core management rhythms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analytics COE Leadership & Governance: lead the Revenue Analytics function as the source of truth for revenue and customer performance data; set analytics strategy, governance, executive reporting, and cross‑functional decision support.
  • Data Integration & Engineering: set strategy for a unified, governed analytics layer; lead data pipelines, enrichment processes, and analytical data layer for forecasting, planning, segmentation, and performance management.
  • Data Governance & Quality: own the data governance framework; establish metric definitions, data quality monitoring, and alignment with Finance and Revenue Systems.
  • Cross‑Market Analytics & Business Intelligence: develop dashboards, performance analytics, predictive insights, and standardized reporting; translate data into actionable recommendations.
  • Community of Practice & Talent Development: build a strong analytics organization, create standards, shared ways of working, and growth opportunities for team members.
  • Transformation Support: define operating model, hire talent, establish governance rhythms, deliver foundational capabilities, and partner with leadership to achieve measurable value in the first 3‑6 months.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience; 12+ years of progressive experience in analytics, revenue operations, business intelligence, or data strategy leadership.
  • 7+ years leading analytics or data teams, with experience building functions during organizational transformation.
  • Deep experience with BI and analytics platforms (Tableau, Salesforce, Power BI) and familiarity with CRM data structures (Salesforce, Gainsight); not necessarily as a system administrator.
  • Familiarity with AI and automation tools (e.g., AI agents, predictive modeling, workflow automation) and a perspective on integrating them into a revenue analytics operating model.
  • Strong understanding of data engineering concepts, system integrations, and the architecture required to connect multiple enterprise data sources into a unified analytics layer.
  • Experience designing and implementing data governance frameworks, including metrics standardization, data quality monitoring, and business rule alignment.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate in a matrixed environment, influence without direct authority, and build alignment across senior stakeholders.
  • Experience in B2B SaaS, insurance technology, or multi‑market commercial organizations strongly preferred.
  • Strong executive communication skills and ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable narratives for senior leadership.
  • Track record of building high‑performing teams with a culture of accountability, intellectual curiosity, and continuous improvement.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and ability to balance immediate business needs with long‑term scalability.
