Job Description- Industrial Electrical Systems
- Proficient in troubleshooting 480V/277V/120V AC circuits, control wiring, and three‑phase systems with 5+ years of experience.
- PLC troubleshooting – diagnosing Allen‑Bradley or Siemens PLCs and HMI interfaces.
- Motor controls & drives – working with VFDs, servo systems, motor starters, and relay logic.
- Preventive & Predictive Maintenance – perform routine inspections, thermal scans, lubrication schedules, and maintain detailed records in a CMMS system.
- Safety & Code Compliance – strong knowledge of Lockout/Tagout procedures.
- Mechanical & Pneumatic Knowledge – comfortable working on mechanical components such as actuators, conveyors, pumps, hydraulic/pneumatic systems.
- Testing Equipment – skilled in using multimeters, megohmmeters, thermal imaging cameras, and advanced diagnostic tools (vibration analysis, laser alignment).
- Instrumentation (a plus) – experience calibrating and maintaining sensors, thermocouples, and transducers.
- Associate degree or technical certification in Electrical Maintenance, Industrial Technology, or Mechatronics, or 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing or unionized environment.
- Mechanical systems expertise – troubleshooting industrial machinery, conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, hydraulic/pneumatic systems, including valves, cylinders, and compressors.
- Machine assembly & fabrication – ability to disassemble, repair, and rebuild complex equipment components.
- Equipment commissioning & start‑up – hands‑on experience installing and testing new machinery or upgraded systems.
- Tools & equipment proficiency – torque wrenches, micrometers, calipers, hoists, cranes, and other mechanical tools.
- Electrical drawings & schematics – able to read, interpret, and update electrical blueprints and control diagrams.
- Mechanical drawings & schematics – able to read and interpret mechanical blueprints, P&IDs, and schematics.
- Advanced diagnostics – use of precision tools, vibration analysis, alignment tools, laser alignment, and thermography.
- Optional: welding & machining skills (MIG/TIG welding, lathe/mill operation, fabrication).
