Job Qualifications Include:
- Previous experience operating a bandsaw or similar equipment preferred
- Experience in a steel or metal manufacturing environment is a plus
- Ability to read a tape measure accurately
- Basic math skills and attention to detail
- Experience with overhead crane or forklift is a plus
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Comfortable working in a production setting that may not be climate controlled
Responsibilities Include:
- Operate bandsaw and other cutting equipment to cut steel materials accurately based on work orders
- Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and tape measurements to ensure correct specifications
- Set up materials, adjust machine settings, and monitor cutting process for quality and efficiency
- Perform basic machine maintenance and keep equipment clean and in good working condition
- Inspect finished materials to ensure they meet quality standards
- Safely move materials using overhead crane or forklift (if certified)
- Assist with general production tasks, including grinding, deburring, and material handling
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all safety guidelines and PPE requirements in a non-climate-controlled environment
- 3rd shift
- 11 pm - 7:30 am
- $20 an hour
