Morning Activity Van Driver

Marian Catholic High School is seeking a responsible and safety-conscious Morning Activity Van Driver to transport students to school using a white activity van. The driver will ensure a safe, timely, and professional transportation experience while upholding the values and mission of our Catholic high school.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a school-owned activity van along designated routes, picking up students from assigned locations.
• Ensure students board and exit the van in a safe and orderly manner.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure it is in proper working condition.
• Follow all traffic laws, school policies, and transportation regulations.
• Maintain a clean and orderly van interior.
• Communicate professionally with students, parents, and school staff.
• Report any incidents, delays, or vehicle issues to the Transportation Coordinator promptly.

Qualifications:

• Valid state driver's license.
• Prior experience driving passenger vans preferred.
• Strong commitment to student safety and well-being.
• Punctual, dependable, and professional demeanor.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Clean driving record with no license suspensions or moving violations within the last five years.

Work Hours & Compensation:

• Morning shift:
  Approximately 5:30am-7:30am, extra hours available.
• Salary: $25/hr.
