The 6th Grade English Language Arts (ELA) Teacher is responsible for delivering engaging and standards-based instruction in reading, writing, speaking, and listening to junior high students. This role includes developing lesson plans, assessing student progress, fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment, and collaborating with colleagues to support student learning and growth. The teacher will help students build foundational literacy skills and a love for literature, while preparing them for continued academic success.
Qualifications
* The qualified candidate will have a valid Illinois Professional Educator License with endorsements in:
Middle school language arts.
