- The Financial Analyst will support the FP&A function across multiple trucking and logistics entities. We are seeking a motivated, early-career professional to gain exposure to operational finance, management reporting, budgeting, and performance analysis within a fast-paced transportation business.
- Assist with monthly and quarterly financial reporting for operating companies and parent company reporting
- Support preparation of management reporting packages, including income statements, KPIs, and variance analysis
- Analyze operational and financial data to identify trends, risks, and areas of improvement
- Partner with Accounting to understand actual results and support forecast-to-actual analysis
- Help maintain and improve reporting dashboards (Power BI exposure a plus)
- Participate in the annual budgeting process and multi-year planning cycles
- Support ad-hoc financial analysis requests as needed to support the business
- Assist with compliance and external reporting needs (banking, insurance, surveys, etc.)
- Work cross-functionally with operations and other departments to understand business drivers
- Manage multiple priorities while meeting recurring deadlines
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- 0–2 years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, or a related internship/co-op
- Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis)
- Exposure to ERP systems (SAP a plus, not required)
- Interest in logistics, transportation, or operational finance
- Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail
- Ability to communicate clearly and work collaboratively across teams
- Organized, dependable, and eager to learn
