Patient Coordinator/Front Desk Receptionist - Full-Time

Join our team at Chicago Ridge Medical Imaging! Chicago Ridge Medical Imaging is expanding, and we’re looking for a Patient Coordinator/Front Desk Receptionist to join our dedicated team.

• Greet and register patients with a friendly, compassionate approach
• Accurately collect necessary documents and enter data into our EMR system
• Schedule patients for a range of exams, including MRI, CT, X‑ray, Ultrasound, EKG, and Dexascan
• Provide exam preparation instructions and ensure patients are comfortable
• Run insurance eligibility checks and collect payments
• Act as a liaison between physicians and patients, ensuring smooth communication
• Assist with administrative duties including faxing reports and managing medical records
• Verify insurance coverage for radiology exams and confirm orders/referrals are complete
• Support office and billing managers with additional tasks as needed

• Monday, Tuesday, and Friday: 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM
• Wednesdays Off
• Thursday: 10:30 AM – 7:00 PM
• Saturday: 8:30 AM – 1:00 PM

• 2+ years of healthcare experience
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology
• Previous experience in radiology or medical imaging is preferred
• Excellent communication skills, especially over the phone
• Ability to multi‑task effectively in a busy, high‑volume environment
• Insurance knowledge and experience with EMR systems
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word, as well as basic email/fax systems
