Senior SEC Accounting Analyst – Confidential Company
📍 Location: Hybrid schedule—3 days onsite in a centrally located downtown office
💰 Compensation: $95,000–$125,000 base salary + 10% annual discretionary bonus
About the Role
A confidential, multi‑entity organization is seeking a Senior SEC Accounting Analyst to support financial reporting, consolidated close activities, and external reporting requirements. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of consolidated financial results while assisting with SEC filings, internal controls, and corporate accounting initiatives.
You will collaborate with teams across the organization, contribute to key reporting processes, and help enhance global reporting structure and consistency.
Key Responsibilities
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual multi‑entity consolidated reporting
- Assist in preparation and review of financial statements in accordance with US GAAP
- Contribute to SEC filings, including portions of Forms 10‑K, 10‑Q, and related disclosures
- Perform consolidation validations, analytics, and reconciliation reviews
- Partner with internal accounting teams to resolve reporting discrepancies
- Support SOX compliance, audit requests, and documentation of internal controls
- Participate in corporate accounting activities, including accounting assessments, reporting updates, and process improvements
- Collaborate on enhancements to reporting tools and data processes
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in industry or public accounting with exposure to consolidated financial reporting or SEC reporting
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- Experience supporting or auditing large, multi‑entity or product‑based companies
Preferred Qualifications
- CPA (active or in progress)
- Experience with financial reporting systems (One Stream, Hyperion, SAP BPC, or similar)
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and corporate reporting practices
- Ability to work cross‑functionally with domestic and international teams
- Strong analytical, communication, and Excel skills
Salary Range: $95,000–$125,000 annually
Bonus Eligibility: 10% discretionary annual bonus based on company and individual performance
