We are a leading accounting firm with over 40 years of experience, is seeking an experienced and dedicated Audit Senior to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in executing audit engagements and ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to our diverse client base.
Responsibilities- Lead and manage audit engagements from planning through completion for various clients, including small family operations and large enterprises.
- Supervise, train, and mentor audit staff and associates, ensuring professional development and performance management.
- Conduct thorough financial statement audits, including evaluating internal controls and compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional service and addressing their audit-related needs.
- Identify and communicate audit findings and recommendations to clients, offering practical solutions to improve financial reporting and internal controls.
- Collaborate with partners and other senior team members to enhance audit methodologies and firm practices.
- Stay current with industry trends, accounting standards, and regulatory changes to ensure compliance and provide informed advice to clients.
- Utilize various auditing software and tools to increase efficiency and accuracy in audit processes.
- Prepare and review audit documentation, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and compliance with firm standards.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA eligible preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in public accounting, with a focus on audit.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, GAAS, and other relevant accounting and auditing standards.
- Excellent analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-focused approach.
- Proficiency in auditing software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
