Staff Accountant

Salary Range: $60,000 – $70,000 annually

We are seeking a Staff Accountant to join a growing accounting team in Chicago. This role reports to the Accounting Manager and will support core accounting functions, including month-end close, general ledger activity, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate brings a solid accounting foundation, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.

• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes
• Prepare and post journal entries and perform general ledger account reconciliations
• Complete bank reconciliations and research discrepancies
• Support the preparation of internal financial reports and statements
• Assist with audit requests and documentation
• Work with intercompany transactions as needed
• Perform additional accounting duties and special projects as assigned

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant accounting experience
• Experience using Yardi or comparable accounting systems
• Working knowledge of Lawson preferred
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
