Overview
We are looking for a Part-time Staff Accountant to join our team. You will manage daily financial tasks and support accurate reporting. You’ll handle accounts payable/receivable, reconcile accounts, and assist with the month-end close. This is an opportunity for 15-25 hours per week (Monday - Friday); hours are flexible.
Responsibilities- Record journal entries and maintain general ledger accuracy
- Reconcile bank statements, accounts payable, and receivables
- Assist with payroll and expense reporting
- Support the month-end and year-end close processes
- Prepare financial reports
- Previous experience with Quick Books (online and desktop) is required
- A minimum of 2 years of experience using Quick Books is required
- Previous experience in general bookkeeping transactions
- Detail- and deadline-oriented
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
