You’ll take ownership of core accounting functions, support financial reporting, assist with tax preparation, and play a key role in maintaining accurate, timely, and compliant financial records. This is a great fit for someone who values precision, collaboration, and continuous learning.
Responsibilities:- Prepare journal entries and support the maintenance of general ledger accounts.
- Process accounts receivable and accounts payable transactions.
- Manage capital calls and distributions.
- Assist in preparing and distributing financial statements and quarterly reports.
- Reconcile and maintain balance sheet and income statement accounts.
- Prepare tax work papers for various entity types (fiduciary, partnership, S‑Corp, etc.) and support the annual tax filing process.
- Compile schedules and documentation for external audits.
- Contribute to special projects and initiatives assigned by management.
- Collaborate with the accounting team to support organizational goals and improve processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
- CPA certification preferred.
- Two to four years of experience in an accounting role.
- Strong analytical abilities and solid accounting knowledge.
- Experience with major general ledger accounting software; familiarity with Allvue or Microsoft Dynamics is a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a deadline‑driven environment.
- Comfortable working independently and collaboratively, with a willingness to take on new tasks.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
- Demonstrates the highest ethical and professional standards.
