Part Time Accounting Manager

8 Hospitality is seeking a Staff Accountant to support daily accounting operations across our hospitality portfolio. This role will report directly to the Accounting Manager and will assist with accounts payable, general cashiering, accounts receivable, payroll support, reporting, and other accounting-related tasks as needed.

• Enter all invoices received through the invoice email
• Maintain vendor relationships and keep open communication with vendors
• Make payments through vendor portals
• Assist with assignments and projects from upper management
• Support month-end processes, including:
• - Utilities
• - Reviewing vendor statements to ensure all invoices have been received
• - Weekly and monthly reports
• Retrieve and process mail
• Input physical invoices and receipts
• Compile weekly AP checks to be cut
• Upload payroll checks to Quick Books Online and the bank
• Upload revenue to Quick Books Online
• Match transactions in the bank feed
• Prepare weekly autopayment schedules
• Cut checks as needed throughout the week
• Assist with accounts payable, general cashiering, accounts receivable, and payroll assistance as needed

• Proficient in Quick Books and Google Workspace
• Degree in Accounting, Business Management, or related field preferred
• Previous hospitality experience preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Attention to detail and accuracy in accounting work
