Salary: $130,000 - $150,000

Our client, a well-established manufacturing organization, is seeking an Accounting Manager to join their corporate accounting team. This role will be responsible for overseeing general ledger accounting, month-end close, consolidations, and financial reporting activities across U.S. operations. The Accounting Manager will partner closely with operational and plant leadership to ensure accurate financial reporting, maintain strong internal controls, and support continuous process improvement initiatives.

This position reports directly to senior accounting leadership and offers a hybrid work environment.

Responsibilities:

• Lead U.S. general ledger accounting and consolidation activities
• Manage monthly and quarterly close processes and reporting timelines
• Oversee balance sheet reconciliations and operating expense analysis
• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reporting schedules
• Partner with operations and finance teams on inventory, manufacturing, and cost accounting matters
• Research and analyze complex accounting transactions and technical accounting topics
• Ensure compliance with SOX requirements and internal controls
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies
• Support ERP enhancements, testing, and system implementation initiatives
• Assist with acquisition integration activities and special projects
• Mentor and develop accounting team members
• Perform additional responsibilities as needed

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required;
  Master's degree preferred
• CPA required
• Public accounting experience, preferably Big 4, strongly preferred
• 5+ years of accounting experience within a public company or manufacturing environment
• Prior leadership or supervisory experience required
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and month-end close processes
• Experience with ERP systems; SAP experience is a plus
• Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Proven ability to partner cross-functionally with finance and operations teams

Salary: $130,000 - $150,000
