$90,000 - $120,000 per year | Chicago, IL | On-Site | Permanent

• Prepare and process monthly invoices for multiple projects.
• Manage sub‑contractor payment requests and process accounts payable.
• Enter contracts and adjustments into the accounting system.
• Prepare and execute change orders and waivers of liens.
• Conduct collection calls on past‑due invoices.
• Generate financial reports and maintain accurate project records.
• Collaborate with project teams to set up projects in all systems per owner and company requirements.
• Participate in project kick‑off meetings and understand project contracts and billing terms.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in project accounting, preferably in the construction industry.
• Proficiency with accounting software such as Sage 300, Viewpoint, or similar.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
