• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent practical experience.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Accountant (CA).
• 4 years of experience in accounting or a related function, or 1 year with an advanced degree in accounting, business, or finance.
• Experience with revenue accounting and working under US GAAP.
• Experience with finance and accounting data analysis and implementation of controls or risk mitigation.

• Experience in creating accounting memos, process documentation and presentations.
• Knowledge of SQL, automation and AI adoption and high degree of comfort with complicated data and a drive to build structured processes.
• Ability to communicate complex accounting requirements to non-finance stakeholders (BD/Sales).
• Passion for driving business decisions by analyzing large and complex data sets.
• Excellent project management skills and ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Excellent communication and business skills, with ability to navigate ambiguity and understand and present data.

You’ll lead an accounting process from end-to-end. Other responsibilities include reconciling balance sheets and P&L accounts, and providing supplementary financial information for internal and external reports.

Our team supports Search, Search Ads and Geo product area and owns the accounting responsibilities that ultimately play a key role in the performance of the business. Your work directly impacts the accuracy and quality of Google’s ads revenue reporting from major accounts and key OEM partnerships.

As an Accountant supporting Ads team, you will manage the accounting of the most strategic global partnerships. Your work directly impacts the accuracy and quality of Google’s ads business reporting from major OEM partnerships. You will lead the transition from manual, spreadsheet-based tracking to an automated process, advocating for the adoption of systematic/AI-solutions for future agreements. This role is also critical in ensuring that billions of dollars in contra-business and marketing fund flows are recorded accurately in accordance with US GAAP and SOX requirements.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $106,000-$151,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. • Global Accounting and Financial Operations:
