Position Overview
The Tax Senior is responsible for managing tax compliance and consulting for a diverse portfolio of clients. This role involves preparing and reviewing various tax returns and ensuring adherence to federal and state tax regulations. The Tax Senior will also collaborate with team members to provide exceptional service to high-net-worth individuals and businesses.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for partnerships, C-Corps, S-Corps, and high-net-worth individuals.
- Conduct tax research and provide guidance on tax planning strategies for clients.
- Manage multiple client engagements and ensure deadlines are met.
- Assist in the development and training of junior staff members.
- Communicate effectively with clients to address tax issues and inquiries.
- Stay updated on tax law changes and assess their impact on clients.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Active CPA designation is required.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in public accounting or tax consulting.
- Strong knowledge of tax compliance for partnerships, C-Corps, S-Corps, and individual returns.
- Experience working with high-net-worth individuals is a plus.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
