Staff Accountant

Job Summary:

The Staff Accountant will maintain accounting standards within established policies and procedures.

• Accounts Receivable (A/R):
  • Prepare A/R Invoices for Internal and External Clients
  • Prepare and send monthly Member A/R invoices
  • Process payments for A/R Collection of all A/R balances
  • Research and respond to all A/R inquiries
• Accounts Payable (A/P):
  • Maintain and control vendor set up and supporting documentation
  • Validate and Process A/P Invoices for payment
  • Review vendor statements at month end
  • Prepare monthly accruals for all outstanding A/P invoices
  • Prepare and send monthly Member Accounts Receivable invoices
  • Reconcile Craftable to A/P
  • Reconcile Cash and prepare deposits
  • Maintain and support internal controls
• Marginal Functions:
  Respond to any reasonable task assigned by the Director of Finance, Accounting Manager and/or General Manager.

• Four years’ experience in a hotel environment
• Exceptional organizational skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Experience with Maestro PMS

$50,000 - $60,000
