Responsibilities:
- Perform daily bank reconciliations; communicate reconciling items to responsible departments
- Review and submit journal entries for posting
- Perform reclassification requests
- Input information in the Firm's fixed assets system
- Prepare and upload Cost charges to 3E
- Maintain expense account schedules; prepare journal entries as necessary
- Perform weekly review of 3E Posting Results
- Perform monthly reconciliations; research and investigate reconciling items and propose solutions
- Perform the compilation and analysis of month-end and year-end reporting requirements
- Assist with yearly financial audit, ensure all audit schedules are accurately and timely prepared and reconciled
- Communicate with other professionals in the Firm and assist in providing information requested
- Assist with additional ad hoc requests and special projects as needed
- Maintain confidentiality and internal controls as required by Firm policies and procedures
- Meet continuing education requirements and continue expanding knowledge base through reading professional publications, attending relevant seminars, etc.
- Ensure compliance with Firm's accounting policies and practices
- Other duties as assigned to fully meet the requirements of the position
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
- 1-2 years of accounting experience
- CPA preferred
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
- Must be detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work overtime, as needed
