Property Accounting Manager

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Property Accounting Manager to oversee financial operations across a portfolio of properties. This role requires strong expertise in real estate or hospitality accounting, with a focus on multi-entity structures, financial reporting, and team leadership. The ideal candidate will bring a hands‑on approach to managing property‑level accounting while driving consistency, accuracy, and process improvements across the organization.

• Manage full‑cycle accounting for a portfolio of properties across multiple entities, ensuring accurate and timely financial close
• Oversee month‑end and year‑end close, including reconciliations, journal entries, and financial statement preparation
• Review and analyze property‑level financials, including variance analysis and performance reporting
• Ensure proper accounting treatment for leases, revenue recognition, and property‑related expenses
• Maintain and strengthen internal controls across multiple entities and reporting structures
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of property accountants
• Partner with asset management, operations, and leadership teams to support business decisions and optimize performance
• Coordinate with external auditors and support audit and tax processes
• Drive process improvements and standardization across the accounting function

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• Minimum of 5+ years of accounting experience, with a focus on property accounting
• Direct experience in real estate or hospitality industries
• Proven experience managing multi‑entity accounting environments
• Prior managerial or team leadership experience

• Strong knowledge of GAAP and property accounting principles
• Experience with property management/accounting systems (e.g., Yardi, MRI, Real Page, or similar)
• Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capabilities
• Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
